I hope to illuminate you.
I hope to show you that the dark is just a stage for your light to shine.
In that sparkling bright light that could mimic the sun, I hope to show you that love; this love is all yours and is more than deserving.
Like a candle that could both defy and define the darkness.

I wish to illuminate your pure, goodness and beautiful heart; a heart forged in a fortress of integrity.
If I could, keep that candle burning to smoke out the memories that broke your heart and brought you pain.
I do it without skipping a beat-just like my heart does with your simple, and beautiful presence in my life does.
Like a candle, I believe our love’s conviction can and will defy and define the darkness that we face in the midst of miles between us.

I hope to illuminate you.
I want our candle’s light to start a wildfire.
Defying challenges, and illuminating our silhouette long after the candle goes out.
Or it goes out upon the entrance of a lover’s kiss; our kiss.

Just as a simple candle can both defy and define the darkness.
I know love; true love can and does that very same thing; I know, and believe our love can do that too.
Let’s illuminate the darkness together, defying and define the darkness.
Let us give the darkness a message that all love meant to be can survive and defy all depths of darkness.
