Cat Saves Family of 8 from Burning House

Black cat saves the day.

Some people associate black cats with misfortune, but what happens when they prove them wrong.

One August day in 2017, that’s the situation and family of 8 from South Carolina found themselves when their cat named Luna unexpectedly saved them as they slept in their home as it caught fire.

Upon realizing the house was on fire Emily quickly woke up all of her kids whose ages ranged from 7 months to 10 years (the kids had all been sleeping in the living room for a slumber party).With Luna in tow, everyone got out of the house to safety. By that point, Emily’s husband returned from work, having not been aware of what was happening before then.

After the escape, Emily’s husband made it back from work in time to see the house on fire and everybody safely outside. Before the flames, Emily recalled how her husband and kids wanted a cat, but not her. After the blaze, Emily changed her mind, saying that Luna was going to get wet food for now on, that she would go wherever they went, and everyone was left grateful to make it out of the situation.

Thanks to another furry angel, another family survived their own living nightmare and proved that black cats do bring good chances.
