The 3 Categories of Content to Look Into

And how to pick what suits you

In my short time creating content, I’ve learned that people respond mostly to three types of content, and you can also adopt it to help you in the process of creating content.

The first type of content people like consuming are those that help them get smarter, whether you’re giving out gems that they may not have known previously or throwing more light to a concept they already knew. This covers anything from health, interpersonal relationships, psychology, personal development, etc.

There’s more demand for information today. We live in a time when more people want information, and despite how much information is out there, we still want more. This is why there’s so much profit in content creation today.

The next type is the one that makes people richer. There’s a reason why Money Twitter is very popular. You’ll see those people who post content around investing, money management, getting new clients, how to make more money, etc.

Who doesn’t want to make money? If you feel like you have some information about making money, then this is something you should pursue.

Though, I’ll advise you to actively try to grow your newsletter so when you have an info product to sell; things will be easier for you.

Then there’s content that makes people happier (feel better). This is anything from music, lifestyle, fiction, sports, etc. It’s all about talking about things that entertain and excite — somehow; we have a primal need for excitement and entertainment.

Nobody can do without the other. They’re all needs.

And under these 3 categories, there are several subcategories, so pick whatever fits your personality and get started.

Thank you for reading.
