The Accessibility of Chicago Public Schools Selective Enrollment High Schools by Train

Though the five SEHS are near train lines, only two are a quick walk away from a station. This poses an issue of efficiency for commuter students who may have to do multiple transfers just to get to school. This is especially a problem for students who live in the South and West sides of the city where trains do not run. They would have to take a bus to get to the train station and then maybe even another bus afterward, making it a necessity to wake up early for such long commutes. It is inconvenient.
