UNIQUE TEAM

They say that two or more is better than one. Never thought of it and if you have then you will probably agree with me. Its a couple of days that have passed by since I meet my brothers and sisters, of course they are from different back grounds but united by the same goal. The goal to be an Andelian. You are probably wondering what I am talking about. Yes let me tell you. I want to be a world class software developer, yes I met my friends at a boot camp held by Andela at Nairobi. It was an experience like no other. The meeting started at nine with a cup of white coffee. After the morning drink all the candidates were grouped into groups of five members and assigned a learning facilitator .

Each member of my group is unique in his/her own way and possess experience depending on his/her encounters in the journey of life. This is healthy for the group since it result to a lively discussions and one gets to learn a lot . I recall when we were instructed to come up with a group name and slogan.

Members had unique names ready in less than three minutes. Mr Chomba is one of my valuable group members. He is a computer science graduate and a serious software programmer. One unique thing about him is he loves is computer so much, he is also curious and a goal-getter.

Moffat is another valuable and talented member. He loves to interact with our mother nature. A lover of aquatic animals. He amazed everybody when he said he had experience ridding a dolphin.To be sincere I have never thought of a person in water and ridding on the back of this animal. Maybe this happens in science fictional based movies or cartoons. I would love to see him in action ridding the dolphin and maybe take a photo of the scene.

Miss Mbugua is yet another candidate in my group. She is the only female candidate in the group. She is fluent and eloquent in spoken languages. She has a bachelors in applied arts and loves solving problems through software development. She is a goal focused lady.

Joan Awinja is my learning facilitator at Andela. I met her during the group meeting and form what I know my group has the best leader. She speaks softly and intelligently. Awinja is the kind of person who will always point you to the right direction. One unique thing about her is that she is very attentive and keen to details.

Paul is another learning facilitator i have meet on slake nairobi group. He is a developer at andela and was the first to check my work. His feedback was encouraging and he motivated me alot by pointing me to the right materials so as to achieve my dreams.
