My current commitments are heavy with a young family of 3 children and two business’ that I run in residential construction and property development. Time is my most important asset and at 44 years of age I didn’t have it to waste on some half baked online course. Also being based in Australia and attending a UK based course would present some timezone difficulties. I had a strong hunch though that this would be different but I could not put my finger on why….. but I jumped anyway…

I have just completed the course on the weekend and what a hectic and rewarding ride it has been. I learnt new concepts like creating a MARKET OPPORTUNITIES MAP to assist in matching your business concepts and passions and SALES FUNNEL which describes to process of creating leads and leading potentials into the problem solving solution you are offering — just especially for them. Considering I had no idea about the technology aspect it was all a little daunting to start with and did feel overwhelming in the first few weeks…. then something happened…

My mindset changed… I stopped over reading the situation and started completing tasks one by one and I got into a rhythm of the step by step process from LONDON REAL and also the support of my own Team Leader and teammates. Now that was unexpected…but came as a major bonus……when I hit some resistance around technology I found immediate support from my team mates to help get through the week and complete the given tasks. The focus to be ALL GREEN by Friday midnight became the target each week.

That environment is very difficult to find in the real world unlike the LONDON REAL world. Loved every minute of it even the weeks when my stomach was churning with anxiety……LIVE video logs on facebook are not a general pastime of mine.

BUT I went towards the fear because I was told too….and I won.. we have a digital business that has sold 10 products in the last week and I think we can safely call that PROOF OF CONCEPT. Don’t overthink…just jump and GREAT things happen when you take a chance.
