We are All Natural Racists

I am writing this article at a time when there are many Chinese Nationals in my country — having come to undertake various engineering and construction programs. I was perturbed that a Chinese man who has stayed in a country with well over 1.6B people, and probably never seen an individual out of his race; declare that Blacks are not only unintelligent but ‘monkey-like’.

Racism is an important subject the world over. However, Nobody likes racist or any other person ranting some racial and/or tribal slurs in public or any other place where it elicit disdain from thee general public. This comprises of such groups as Caucasians, Chinese, Hispanics and Negros and/or black Americans.

However, unfortunately, all of us are born racist until we make a deliberate effort to ‘escape’ from this bondage. This happens through the following ways:

If you are white and have never seen a black in your neighborhood, you will be thrilled to see one. The same things happen for Blacks, Hispanics etc. There is this natural instinct to want to feel their hair, wonder how strong they are — I used to think whites are not as strong as blacks!

However, racial integration enables individuals to desist this instinct. This happens in international universities, football teams and in a majority of the American Movies. Therefore, we should never really criticize people who look racial. Instead, we should give everyone a chance to explore ‘racism’ and hopefully come out ‘clean’.
